www.RapidLocator.com is a small personal web project (summer coded ;p) to share your geolocation (gps location), as easy as posible, in realtime with other people.
No more, no less!
As easy as posible
RapidLocator does not require registration! Just write a 'SessionID' (less than 8 characters length) and write a 'Name' (less than 8 characters too). Thats it!
The 'SessionID' creates a temporaly virtual room (like a chat channel) that you can share with other people, and the 'Name' is your identification name. If other people enters with the same 'SessionID' in RapidLocator.com, the geolocations are shared automatically. You can see where is other people and people can see where are you, and all in realtime!

Is secure
The geolocation information is very important and private. RapidLocator.com does not store any information about you. The server only has your data temporarily (less than 1 minute), to share with other people with the same 'SessionID'.
Is cross platform
RapidLocator.com is designed to work correctly in mobile devices, especially Android, iPhone and iPad devices, and any other that supports html geolocation api.
But it also works in desktop browsers like Google Chrome, Safari, Opera and Firefox. Internet Explorer is supported with Google Gears installed (until IE9 arrival).
Nokia native version!
The web version does not work on Nokia devices. But I developed a native version for S60 series!!! Like N97, X Series, Nokia Navigators, etc.
